"Better Go Get That Bobby Digital Movie"

I remember hearing RZA saying that line a couple of years ago when I purchased that Bobby Digital album. I haven't seen the movie and my sources (mainly wu-corp and chambermuzik) tell me that only wu fam have actually seen the entire thing. Speaking of Bobby, RZA is bringing his digital ass (no homo) back out. I'm copping Digi Snacks, gotta support the real while its still here. I watched the video and absolutely loved it, now if only Wu-Tang got a video like this for 8 Diagrams (for Campfire).

Never Change

Well I'm back on my blogging shit again. This time its for good. I won't be going to summer school this year so I got time on my hands cause I work in the morning and don't really be having shit to do otherwise. So what you guys plan on doing with your summer? Shit, I plan on getting a second job, so I won't have too much free time on my hands. I plan on going to New York and Jersey. Also or most importantly rather, I plan on getting some more music equipment (as soon as I figure this midi thing out. Which brings me to my story or purpose for writing this blog.

I remember when I first started making beats, I was using anything I could get my hands on. Basically I didn't have shit but Music Generator 2. Then I upgraded to Music Generator 3 which basically just allowed you to utilize loops of actual songs. Then from there I got that Funk Flex joint, Digital Hitz Factory.

I remember hounding DJ Victorious and even convincing him to give me his phone number. I wish him all the success in the world, he probably won't even remember this though. I used to email him and Jim Bond constantly trying to get put on (mind you my beats were ass) and DJ Victorious was kinda like on some Dame Dash shit, if you came correctly you got a chance.

Well he gave me his number and an appropriate time to call him. I called him shortly after and we talked. He basically said keep making beats and send him some tracks and keep calling him. Long story short, I stopped calling him because I couldn't figure out how to record my beats (the ones I was making with Digital Hitz) to send him.

Fucked up ain't it?

Today I was working on my secret project (8 Bit Theater) and I was realizing how far along I came. I managed to find some old beats from like the "Digital Hitz" era and I bet if I get E-Rich to look he can find some from the "Music Generator" era. Now I got the Sp 505, Reason 3, a midi keyboard, and I'm gonna have a microKorg by the end of the summer. Came a long way but never changed really. Only thing that changed was the equipment, my chopping and looping style is still the same (kinda). Drums are more on beat if anything lol. But I can actually tell I made those beats.....
Maybe I'm just bugging.
