Liar Liar

I think this is a crock of shit, someone paid him to do this or he was motivated by something. You don't come out saying a nigga molested you and then take it back. Too late we are already looking at you and Chris funny now.

Sequel?

Well since they clearly define what snitching is, I'm not gonna bag the video. After all I do live in Baltimore. I wasn't aware Lil Flip lives here lawls. Well watch the video. I'm totally not buying the dvd though, I see shit like this errrday.

No More Jay Z President Disses

Because ya boy Young Hov stepped down today from being the president. I think those diss records (JOE BUDDEN) got to him lol. Read it here.

Prodigy In the lab?

Thats what the video said but I was mislead. I still find this funny though.

Child Molester?

Well if you like B2K or not, this is something. I'm not gonna explain just watch. If your in a rush watch part 2.

Criminal Gone Wild?

This nigger is a straight clown. Heres some footage from CNN. He really believe that this shit he filmed was real. Watched the nigger talk and watch someone come in and say to him this shit is not real.

24

One of my favorite bloggers is doing 24 blogs in 24 hours. So if your bored check them out. The bow wow one is funny. Maybe I'll post it. Read it here

RA The Rugged Man vs Rude Jude

RA lost. How come people just can't admit Kanye West is hip hop? Listen to it here.

Ghostface 16 Bars

You know how AOL does those 16 bar specials, well Ghostface finally gets his and spits his darts from "Wisdom Body" off of the greatest rap cd ever (Only Built FOr Cuban Linx...). What I think is that Ghostface should just rap over all of the Blueprint's beats and do a mixtape.

Us Placers

I think Lil Skateboard P did too many damn Star Trak signs, good video over all though.

Encore Do You Want More

Saigon apparently quit rap last month. Well I knew that shit wasn't gonna last he didn't even drop his album yet. Well he's back and you can read it straight from his blog, here.

Chain Gang

This is Rick Ross' new chain. Its ugly as hell. What do you think? I think Slick Rick and Ghostface got the best chains.

Exposed

Apparently Remy Ma is either bisexual or a lesbian. Who cares right?

Ms.Baxter

I usually leave the women over to my man E-Rich. But I've been in love with Esther since I saw her in Freek-A-Leek. Damn and she's 20? Same age as my girl. Man... No words

On Anything That RZA Throw

Well I did the fan thing and copped 8 Diagrams today. Here's my review.

The cd starts off with "Campfire", when I heard this shit I got chills in my spine. Ghostface and Method Man go hard on this, Cappa shows up but the attention is really on GFK and The M-E-T-H-O-D Man. "Take It Back" sounds like it was made in the 90's, its ok. I really want to mush the shit outta someone when i hear "Get Them Out Ya Way Pa", its that energetic. "Rushing Elephants" is the same, I want a car just to play this shit really loudly. I don't like "Unpredictable" I liked the original more when it was called "Thug World". "The Heart Gently Weeps" is on some different shit, I'm feeling it can't wait to see the video. "Wolves" is aight. "Gun Will Go" is aight too but I would rather have the hook be different a little bit. "Sunlight" should have been on a RZA cd, but I don't like this one that much. "Stick Me For My Riches" is like C.R.E.A.M. 2008 but the singing is kinda annoying, hi hats are getting there though. "Starter" is for the women, not bad but damn its close. "Windmill" and "Weak Spot" is epic, I fuck with these. "Life Changes" is dramatic, just missing the Ghostface verse.

My verdict is I like the cd its ok, I think Raekwon and Ghostface are right it could have been better. BUT it does not suck like people say. Its not a shit sandwich. Or put it like this its not Wu-Tang Forever but its definitely not Iron Flag.

1.Wu-Tang Forever
2. Enter The 36 Chambers
3. The W
4. 8 Diagrams
5. Iron Flag

Brand New Flavor In Ya Ear

Well Lupe got his whole cd on MTV.com for previewing, I didn't listen yet but I plan on too. Check that right here.

One of The Many Styles

His freestyles are a monster. Styles is in my top 10 easy.

He Comes....

Well I've concluded today that I'm going to take a break from music. Its a short break. Actually its only 3 days. I'll return to making music on Friday. Not that I can't make anything worthwhile right now its just that I don't have the time and I need to focus on other things. I gotta get these finals done and you can bet your soul as soon as they are done (Thursday night) I'm coming at you hard with the beats. I already got my set up set up. I know the first thing I'm doing (re-doing my drum kits). I got alot of shit I wanna sample plus I gotta couple of ideas. And did I mention too much free time? Besides the whole winter is ahead of me with nothing to do. THE WHOLE WINTER. I'm locking myself in on some Madlib shit and make alot of hot shit. I'm still blogging on ya reading asses, just not producing on it. But like I said its going to be a short break nothing long or major.

Prank Dat Whoo Kid

This is like the 2nd time they did something fucked up to Whoo Kid. When will it stop.?

GZA vs 50 Cent?

Well I'm going to disagree with GZA on this one. While 50 Cent may not be the most talented individual in rap, its a reason he sells the most. I love GZA though, actually one of my favorite cds is Liquid Swords but this is just wrong. Why does everyone hate 50 cent?

Nothing With Out You

Well I like Prodigy of Mobb Deep. I think he's a great lyricist and even funny to hear some times but this is the first time I've heard P talk about god without snuffing Jesus. Listen here

Ghostface x Angie Martinez

I Like 50 Cent

50 Cent knows when to cop out of something. Basically if you didn't know Tony Yayo said Lord Superb wrote Supreme Clientèle. Well in this decent interveiw he basically says "Yayo is his own man, I don't know shit about that." Here it here.

Universal Strikes Back!

Basically all of you stealing mofo's caused this to happen. I can't talk I've stole music before too. Basically Universal is saying that any artist under their label can only post songs 90 seconds and under. The other choice is an annoying tag on the song, which I hate. Funny thing about this is this is only to sites where music can be posted or embedded. Guess which site doesn't have to do it? Universal's own site but even with their site it can only be certain songs. I hope you guys know that Universal is a parent company so a lot of your favorite record labels are affected like Def Jam, Motown, Interscope, and etc.

I found this at sohh!

Find A Way

This would be my first blog about my personal life. I've already come to accept the fact that I'm everyones property, after all I am on the internet, like everywhere.

But to the point

I've been thinking for quite sometime that I hate my job but I love school, well I love school to an extent. Personally my job sucks ass to me and I don't think I'm going to progress further than what I've already have done, which is still entry level. Mind you, I don't get paid that much. Shit when i was broke I was making damn near the same amount. I'm the type of person that when i don't like something, I just say fuck it, I QUIT! (See last job Charlestown). But I've grown since then (I'd like to think at least) and I understand you can't quit everything you hate right? Wrong! You can quit, long as you have a back up. So whats my back up? Nothing yet. As I'm typing this blog I'm pretty much looking for another job where I can be happier and make a little bit more money. This is one of them times I wish I was a fully working producer, which should be coming soon, hopefully.
Being happy is the key actually. If I had it my way I wouldn't be in school, I would be in the studio somewhere making music. But I decided to try school out because I realize you need back up plans for shit. And this helped me find out I love school! I think college is a bit over-rated but I love it. Only thing thats missing is having my own dorm or something, I'm sick of living with my parents. But the funny thing is I only like certain classes (mainly art and business). But this is first semester who am I to judge it already right? I'm actually thinking about dropping out though. The thought passed my head a couple of times. I don't think I'm going to do it but I still like to have that option.
Anywho I learned something. I go to a four year university and a lot of jobs that pay what I need to get by only require a two year degree. So If I don't drop out I may leave this school and go to community college and if I feel like it transfer back in. I'm getting older, not younger. So I feel that if I can get my two year degree or an AA as they call it, I'll be happy.
Another thing that I find cool is if I get paid for doing the YIC album (which I'm hoping cause I've seen the budget but we'll see what happens) I can start my T Shirt company and quit my job because the amount that I want for this is a good amount to chill with. Either way its fucking snowing outside and the sun is shining in my head and I'm ready to move on.

Toney Sigel aka The Barrel Brothers

Video from Big Doe Rehab

Pusha T Ethers Lil Wayne

Seriously, listen to this shit here.

The Big Doe Rehab Review

Finally today is December the 4th. I finally walked into Best Buy and copped that new Ghostface Killah. Now if you've been living in a cage for the past year Ghostface managed to drop 2 albums Fishscale and More Fish. Fishscale was really good and got great reviews, plus it went gold. More Fish was kinda like Fishscale because alot of the tracks that got left off made it to More Fish. More Fish was a good album and I think its his worst album to date but with that Being said where does The Big Doe Rehab stand?

CD cover is dope! Onto reviewing the cd....

The first song "At The Cabana (Skit)" is a skit, very funny and sets the mood for the album. Ghostface takes someones "bitch". After the skit its the song "Toney Sigel aka The Barrel Brothers" with Beanie Sigel. The song originally had Styles on it but for some reason it didn't make it. I heard the original one so I'm mad at this song. First off Styles short verse was good and I liked it. Second they cut Beans verse. But its all good though. Then you got the epic "Yolanda's House" with Raekwon and Method Man. This is classic shit right here. No bullshit. The story itself is pretty good, one of the best tracks on the album. After that its the ok "We Celebrate" with Kid Capri. This is my least favorite song on the cd. Kid Capri makes my head hurt with all of his fucking screaming. But if it was at a live show it'd be great. "Walk Around" is a track about someone's flesh getting on Ghostface after he blasted them. Good track. "Yapp City" has Ghostface, Trife Da God, and Sun God exchanging verses about yapping people or robbing people. "White Linen Affair (Toney Awards)" with Shawn Wigs (one of the reasons I though More Fish wasn't that good) is a good example of a song like "Drink The Pain Away" except with celebrities. Then you got "Supa GFK", Ghostface does another Ghostface and raps over "Superman Lover" by Johnny Guitar Watson. I dig it. Ghostface, Raekwon, and U-God do a good job of getting money on "Rec-Room Therapy". Then you have "The Prayer" which is performed by Ox which sets the mood for the next song, which happens to be my favorite "I'll Die For You". That is one of the best songs I've heard this year. Classic shit. Then its "Paisley Darts" with Raekwon, Sun God, Trife Da God, Method Man, and Cappadonna. Another banger. I like Cappas verse the best though. Ghostface finally finishes what happens after Shakey Dog (see Fishscale) on "Shakey Dog Starring Lolita" with Raekwon. Nice story telling. Then its "!" with the "Rhythm Roots Allstars" Which is about 40 seconds but very instrumental if you listen to the whole album. Then you got the bonus tracks. "Killa Lipstick" makes me want to make a joint about my girl. Method Man on the hook and Masta Killa has a verse. The final song is "Slow Down" with Chrisette Michele. Another favorite.

Bottom line, Ghostface can't make a bad cd. He has the best discography out of all of your favorite rappers. Think I'm lying? Check the reviews. This is one of his best cds to date. I'm giving it a 4.5/5.

Ghostface cd rankings
1. Surpreme Clientele
2. Ironman
3. The Big Doe Rehab
4. Fishscale
5. Bulletproof Wallets
6. The Pretty Toney Lp
7. More Fish

Billie Je--- No Nikki Jean

I stumbled across this vblogger on youtube. I like her style she talks about her day and ask people about their day and then responds back to people. Shes pretty cool. Shes also cute, that never hurts. She sings pop. So check her out.
Did I mention shes on Lupe Fiascos new cd?

Dreams

I had the weirdest fucking dream last night. Usually I don't post shit like this but god, I have to tell everyone about this damn dream. Don't judge me.
Ok well it started like this. I'm at this party right and I'm chilling, some dude walks up on me and just grabs my dick. Literally, this dude just takes his had and grabs my dick (outside my pants assholes). And I'm like "YO WTF, LET IT GO! GET OFF MY DICK!". So this motherfucker decides to slap me and misses. I try to punch him but he vanishes, my dick is finally free.
Thats still not it. I find out hes a relative so I go looking for him to break his fucking hands. And I finally get to him at a family function. Soon as I get close to him he says, "trust no one" and then vanishes. Just like that. Dream over. Weird shit right?

Signing Bonus

Well two of my good friends just been signed and guess who is producing? I'll leave that for now.

New Ghostface Interview

Lets just say Tony Yayo can suck a fat dick. Read it here

Last Night Changed It all

Well kinda. Last night I went over another producers house, Drew, to make some tracks. It was actually our first time linking up and it won't be the last. The session was mad crazy though, god I wish I didn't have school this morning. Anywho he we talked about beats all the way until we got to his crib. Now when we got to his crib, he has this collage that I think is so awesome and I'm kinda pissed because I was gonna make one I am going to make one and that one was just so impressive.
After looking at the collage, he was like "so what you trying to do" and I simply told him, "make some tracks". So I pulled out my weapon (Boss Sp 505) and began connecting. Then he told me that he has a MPC 2000 (Not the xl version) and I noticed how big that thing was all I can say is damn. I'd never bring that out the house. He never has used him MPC so he was curious to see how a drum machine works. So I began making a drum beat in front of him, then he goes "so how you put samples over your tracks" and I'm like lets see if I have a sample in the machine already. Fortunately I did! So I just chopped the sample up and did my thing. Dude was amazed. Now he works with Reason and I was curious to see how he does what he does. He showed me how to really work reason if I ever need to. Really that track that he did in front of me came out ridiculous. He taught me a bit more about chopping too.
Did I mention his speaker system is fucking nuts? He made me realize I need to get some speakers quick. Because I do everything in my computer speakers and I got a chance to hear them come out of actually speakers and I don't know how much longer i can make beats without decent speakers.
So after all of that we played some beats, I played shit like 2 years old. He is a good scouter for talent, I swear he'd make a great A&R. All of the beats he played me from his camp were hitting. I didn't hear anytype of bullshit coming from those speakers and the "just ok" tracks were fucking knocking.
Anywho one of the producers that did one beat he played me he called him and I saw how dedicated he was to this. This guy is so commited to producing, it feels like I have a twin out here. He wants this so bad and I think he's gonna get it. He made me realize something, producing is becoming a young kid sport there are people out here that are 15 making placements (seriously I know). So its time to get on the hustle.

Inside The Rappers Studio

I've had the privilege to listen to Ghostface Killah's new cd, The Big Dough Rehab, a week early before the release. So far one of the best releases this year, possibly the best. But most importantly watch Ghostface break down his tracks here. Thanks Miss Info

Jay Electronica

This dude is a problem for the rap game and I found some of his newest work called A Prayer For Michael Vick and T.I.. He is so dope!

Made to do this?

This is something I wrote, I'm really just reflecting upon the whole artistry of rap or music in general.

I knew I was the one for this shit, when I begun
And started rhyming about how I'm running this shit, now I'm the one
And only shogun with a blowgun shooting darts
Came here with a million and left without a march
If it is its a start to something bigger
The whole flow stay nasty like colored liquor
The one elixer from the apothecaries mixer
Broken down and compound to one mixture
I gotta fix ya like a broken hinge
Because you leaked the product out like a broke syringe
I think I broke the pin, four numbers ain't enough
You suppose I try again, you gonna call my bluff
Stay exclusive to each its own with their music
But your not an artist until your payed to do it
Until then its a hobby and I speak the truest
But this is something that happened, now I feel like I'm made to do it

Its a lot of phony stuff out here (insert get rich quick rappers here). And I'm sick of seeing it on myspace, hearing it on the radio, and etc. Basically I think I'm able to do this or the one rather. Because I shoot darts (rhymes) that affect a million men and each time it leads to something bigger, something better. My flow is nasty (in a good way of course) comparable to colored liquor (that tastes like shit). But I gotta get it broken down to the purest form to fix the people listening/reading that other bullshit. Because they leaked the product and it sucked. I'm trying to save grace but I broke the pin to the safe because the numbers I got (or the numbers that independent artist do) aint' enough to feed the family. As usual people try to test your artistry so I tell them your not an artist until your paid to do it, its a hobby for you but I was made to do it.

Check The Method

I was just watching youtube and I happen to stumble across this. Elzhi tells inspiring rappers how to rap, good anyway. His flow reminds me of Kool G Rap, and he shows how to achieve that flow. Check the method.

RZA Addresses Raekwon Rumours

Well I saw this coming, 8 Diagrams is around the corner. This is basically a promo and it does a good job of getting me excited. Most importantly RZA addresses Raekwon's rumours about the music and the money.

In The Begining....

Greeting to all. I am Malcolm Maximillion. I'll be using this blog to post random things mainly about music, fashion, and movies. Ummm yes I make music, I'm a producer. I have alot of great ideas with this blog and I hope everyone enjoys this just as much as i will. Thats it for now.
